Website Login Loops on a VPN: Cookies and Connection Checks

Returning to sign-in after submitting an account is not necessarily a VPN connection failure. Observe whether the page loads, shows an account error or loops during redirects before choosing a session or network check.

Content updated:

Cookies can affect sign-in state

Chrome explains that cookies can maintain sign-in and deleting them can sign you out. Save unfinished work and confirm you can complete account verification before clearing only the affected site data.

Fix the connection, then test one site

  1. Record the looping steps using one browser and route; avoid repeated route changes.
  2. Check for explicit password, account restriction or verification messages and follow the website instructions for those cases.
  3. If needed, find the affected site data in Chrome privacy settings, confirm deletion for that site only, and sign in again.
  4. If the page reports blocked third-party cookies, temporarily allow them only for the trusted affected site and retest; review the exception afterwards.
  5. Compare results before and after. If the loop remains, stop repeated submissions and send the error text and time to website support.

What the comparison establishes

Recovery after a site-data change shows that the step affected this session, not that every login failure is caused by cookies. One failing site does not establish a failure of every route. Yunbao does not remove website account restrictions; contact that website for account issues.
